Jonathan Odongo holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Education from Kenyatta University. He has worked as a Tutor at St. Francis Nyangajo Girls Secondary School, Environmental Educator at OSIENALA (Friends of Lake Victoria) and Laikipia Wildlife Forum, Education Officer at Laikipia Nature Conservancy and Teaching Assistant at Kenyatta University (Department of Environmental Education).

Washington Wachira holds a BSc in Environmental Science and is currently completing his MSc Animal Ecology from Kenyatta University. By age 14, he was already on the career path towards nature interpretation and conservation, after which he has led environmental and wildlife conservation programmes at Brightstar Academy,St. Austin Academy, Ndururumo High School,A Child a Tree Initiative, National Youth Service (Nairobi) and Kenyatta University.
Washington has great passion for environmental education and nature conservation and has continued to enrich his knowledge and improve his career through apprenticeshipsat the Ornithology Section of the National Museums of Kenya, Giraffe Center and Elsamere Field Study Centre and pursuance of courses such as Certificate in Fundamentals of Ornithology, Certificate in Disasters and Ecosystems; Resilience in a Changing Climate. Maureen Nabwire is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds Bachelor’s degree in Law from Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law.
She is passionate about the environment and teaching young children aboutthe environment and the importance of conservation.Maureen’s interest and passion in environment, environmental issues and childhood environmental education peaked after taking Environmental Law as part of her undergraduate studies.
At KEEN, Maureen offers her wealth of knowledge in Environmental Laws and Policies. She also doubles up as the organization’s strategist and educator. As a strategist, she is involved in strategic planning, management, coordination, implementation and administration of programmes. As an educator, she is involved in curriculum design and teaching kids about the environment and importance of caring for our surrounding.
